About
Sarah Clawson is a family nurse practitioner who focuses on delivering a unique blend of nursing and medical care. Sarah graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. She then returned OSU to complete her nurses training and obtain her Master of Science degree. After completion of her master’s degree which included advanced clinical training Sarah became nationally certified as a family nurse practitioner.
Prior to obtaining her degree, Sarah served in multiple capacities with two local family medicine doctors. It was during this time she came to understand the importance of providing high quality healthcare and decided to pursue a career as a healthcare provider. Sarah strives to provide care by focusing on the whole person while treating specific health problems. Her goal is to assist patients in making better lifestyle and healthcare decisions. As a nurse practitioner, Sarah is able to order, perform and interpret testing such as lab work and x-rays. She can diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, infections and injuries. She can also prescribe medications and other treatments.
Sarah is originally from the London area and is a graduate of Madison Plains High School. She currently lives in Columbus with her husband and two wonderful boys.
