About
Andrew Lawson, DO is Madison Health’s new sports medicine specialist. Dr. Lawson has joined the organization’s family of physicians to provide exceptional sports medicine services for athletes of all ages and ability levels.
As a sports medicine specialist, Dr. Lawson is trained to diagnose and treat injuries that are sustained while playing sports and various types of orthopedic injuries. He is board certified in both family and sports medicine.
Dr. Lawson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington and his Master of Science degree in Exercise Science from Western Washington University. In 2010, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Western University – College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific.
He is a vested member of his community, serving as the team physician at the university and high school levels. He was also a member of the medical staff for various athletic teams such as the Spokane Indians (minor league baseball) and Spokane Chiefs (semi-professional hockey).
