About
Madison Health is proud to have Stephen Olson, MD as a member of its team of physicians as he is committed to providing excellent orthopedic care to Madison County and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Olson attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati. He performed his orthopedic surgery residency training at University of Missouri in Kansas City. He completed a one-year fellowship in sports medicine at the renowned Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. During this time, he was part of the medical team taking care of athletes at the University of Memphis as well as the Memphis Grizzlies professional basketball team.
He is a board-certified physician and well trained in general orthopedic problems including fracture care, orthopedic trauma, joint replacements, and overuse disorders of the hand, foot and ankle. His area of special interest and expertise is the treatment of sports-related injuries of the knee and shoulder using arthroscopic procedures.
Dr. Olson is currently accepting new patients at Madison Health and is seeing patients at our Specialty Care office.
