A good night’s rest can be hard to achieve, especially for the approximately 20 million Americans who suffer from sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is characterized by brief interruption of breathing during sleep. The Madison Health Sleep Lab is here to help.
The only way to diagnose sleep apnea is through a specialized test known as a polysomnography or sleep study. The testing process is simple. Anyone who suspects they have sleep apnea, is asked to consult their physician. The doctor then refers the patient to the hospital for a sleep study.
The center does its best to simulate the patient’s normal sleeping environment. The Sleep Lab’s suites are furnished with beautiful custom-made Amish Furniture.
