The Battelle Breast Care Center at Madison County is pleased to announce the creation of a support group for women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Being diagnosed with breast cancer can be an overwhelming experience. While speaking with health care providers can help you gain an understanding of the disease and treatment options, meeting with other women affected by breast cancer can provide you with additional comfort and support.
Whether you are newly diagnosed or a long-time survivor, we invite you to be a part of our group. Please plan to attend our monthly meetings for guest speakers, support from other women, and time to share your thoughts and feelings about breast cancer.
The meetings will be held the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm in The Battelle Breast Care Center, located on the ground floor of the Park Avenue Medical Building. Our first meeting will be held Wednesday, March 24.
If you are interested or have questions regarding the meetings, please don’t hesitate to contact Sue Besinger, RN, Breast Care Specialist at 740.845.7884 or e-mail at email@example.com.
Update: Ruth Roddy, RN, is the new Breast Care Specialist at Madison County Hospital. Please contact her regarding updates to the Breast Cancer Support Group. You can reach her at 740.845.7884 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
