Due to the current flu epidemic, the hospital is instituting a new visitation policy beginning Wednesday, October 21. This policy will be in effect until the end of flu season.
No more than two visitors per patient at a time.
No visitors under the age of 16.
Visitors must check-in at either the front desk or emergency department.
If you have flu symptoms, you will not be permitted to visit a patient.
Patients hospitalized with the flu will have additional visitor restrictions.
Also, if you are experiencing flu symptoms, we ask that you only enter the Park Avenue Medical Building if you are seeking care or visiting your physician.
Because of the new visitation policy, the hospital will not be passing out candy during London’s trick-or-treat time on Thursday, October 29.
To help keep everyone safe, we appreciate your compliance with these new guidelines.
Please contact the hospital at 740.845.7050 if you have any questions about visiting a patient at Madison County Hospital.
