Madison Health Foundation awards nursing scholarships
February 7, 2018
The Madison Health Foundation recently awarded three nursing scholarships to hospital employees - Kelsey McNeal, Joyce Walker and Cheyenne Rice. The Elizabeth Reese Scholarship provides assistance to students enrolled or accepted into a BSN or RN program.
Ginger Kronk, Vice President of Development said, “This
scholarship is given through the Foundation in memory of Elizabeth Reese and
provides financial support for individuals pursuing a career in nursing.
It’s our pleasure to provide assistance to these deserving team members.” Kelsey McNeal is currently a Patient Care Assistant and has
been working at Madison Health since 2012. She is currently attending
Columbus State Community College majoring in nursing.
Joyce Walker has been a Registered Nurse at Madison Health
for almost 11 years. She’s returning to school to receive her
Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing.
Recipients are asked to fulfill a one-year work commitment to Madison Heath once they graduate and are licensed. The Madison Health Foundation is grateful for the Elizabeth Reese Trust to assist people with pursing or furthering their nursing education and degrees. |
