Madison Health is hitting the road.
The hospital has recently collaborated with the agency that provides transportation to a number of its patients.
Madison Health has provided a financial contribution to Madison County Ride — a fleet of vans and busses operated through the Madison County Board of Developmental Disabilities. In exchange, the Madison Health logo will adorn four vans.
Madison County Ride has provided the area with transportation service since 1996. Madison County Ride contracts annually with Madison County Department of Job and Family Services, Veterans Affairs, and London City Schools, as well as other local agencies.
“This was a great opportunity to support a local organization, while promoting Madison Health throughout our service area,” said Cindy Stout, Madison Health vice president of marketing and physician relations. “We were proud to partner with Madison County Ride.”
And in Madison Health, Madison County Board of Developmental Disabilities has found a partner that provides essential services to the people of this area.
“We could not think of a better organization to collaborate with,” stated Madison County Board of Developmental Disabilities Superintendent Susan Thompson. “Madison Health is doing great things for our community.”
