Auxiliary seeks homemade donations for countywide bake sale
April 14, 2016
It’s a golden event!
The 50th Annual Madison Health Auxiliary Bake-Nic is set for Friday,
May 6 at various locations throughout the county. Current volunteers are seeking donations of
baked goods such as pies, cookies, candies or other sweets. Individual servings
or large quantities of baked goods are welcome, as volunteers package and price
each donation. In addition, the Auxiliary will also accept monetary donations.
The Madison Health
Auxiliary relies upon the generous donations of food items from supporters in
the community to make this fundraiser a continued success. Please drop off your
donation of baked goods to the London First United Methodist Church, 52 North
Main Street, on Thursday, May 5, between 10am and 4pm.
The Bake-Nic is
one of many ways the Auxiliary helps raise money for the hospital. Since the hospital
opened in 1962, the Auxiliary has been able to donate more than one million
dollars back to the organization. Throughout the years, funds from the Bake-Nic
have contributed toward the purchase of new inpatient beds and vital sign
machines and a BiPAP machine, just to name a few.
