MCH honors local businesses and civic organizations

The Madison County Hospital Foundation recognized 80 local business and civic organizations at their Annual Business Partners Breakfast on June 26 at the hospital.
Corporate Gifts Chair Gary Feliks started the morning by thanking the businesses for their continued support of MCH. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to recognize all of you. Foundation President Mike Quilter made a special thanks to the Business Partners and recognized the work of the other Foundation committees including special gifts, annual gifts and hospital employee giving.
"Without your support and our Foundation fundraising volunteers, many of the hospital's successes would not be possible," said Quilter.
Mike Browning, Interim CEO, spoke about the hospital's six areas of focus for continuous improvement, which include quality; service and reputation; workplace of choice; innovation and growth; productivity and efficiency; and financial performance. The physicians and staff at MCH, as well as hospital leadership, are committed to identifying initiatives that will improve each area.
Jennifer Piccione, Chief Nursing and Clinical Services Officer, updated the group on MCH's electronic medical records system. On April 1, MCH, in partnership with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, implemented the system which uses computers to document health and financial information.
