Heartfelt Holidays approaches
November 14, 2011
Heartfelt Holidays is an annual event that supports the Madison County Hospital Foundation’s breast cancer endowment fund and heartfelt fund, both of which help provide financial assistance for patients.
At this year’s fundraising event on Saturday, December 3, Sticks and Stones will be playing classic hits from the 60’s and 70’s and 80's from artists such as The Beatles, James Taylor, Simon and Garfunkle, and Cat Stevens.
"We are always looking for new ideas for the party. This is the premiere holiday event in our area. Yes, it’s a fundraiser, so we want everyone to have a good time and enjoy their evening out while supporting a great cause," said event co-chair Dan Blazer.
As in years past, the event will be held at Choctaw Lake Lodge. The doors open and the silent auction begins at 5:30 pm, and the dinner and live auction begin at 7 pm. Live auction items include trips, jewelry and a beautifully handcrafted quilt. This popular event is often a sell-out, so it is recommended that you reserve your tickets early. Tickets can be purchased on www.mchHeartfeltHolidays.com or by calling the MCH Foundation at 740-845-7050.
“Each year in December a group of volunteers put together a wonderful event providing guests with a delicious dinner and the opportunity to purchase quality items from both a silent and exciting live auction,” said Patti Blazer, Heartfelt Holidays co-chair. “I invite anyone interested to get involved, either by attending the event, helping with decoration, donating auction items, or even helping on the clean-up crew. It takes many people to make this wonderful evening a success, and we’d love for you to join us.”
